At Great Commission Movement – The Gambia, we are driven by a clear and compelling purpose: to help fulfill the Great Commission – Jesus’ command to make disciples of all nations. Everything we do is centered around this calling.
Our Calling
We are called to help fulfill the Great Commission by winning, building, and sending in the power of the Holy Spirit, and helping the body of Christ do evangelism and discipleship.
This means we engage people where they are, introduce them to Jesus, help them grow in their faith, and equip them to go and do the same for others. We don’t do this in our own strength, but in complete dependence on the Holy Spirit.
We also believe we’re not alone in this mission. We work hand-in-hand with churches, ministries, and believers across The Gambia, providing tools and training to help every follower of Jesus become a multiplying disciple.
Our Vision
Movements everywhere so that everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus.
Our vision is expansive, yet deeply personal. We dream of a day when every person in every village, city, school, and workplace knows at least one person who lives and shares the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We pursue this vision by launching and supporting spiritual movements that multiply: movements of students, families, leaders, churches, and communities being transformed by Christ and sharing His love with others.
